Terms of Service

Effective Aug 22, 2026

1. What this is

Vura operates vura.video, a service that turns an image you upload into a short video. By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you do not, do not use the service.

2. Your account

You need a working email address, and you must confirm it before you can generate anything. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else is using it.

3. Credits, plans and payment

Generating a video spends credits. Plan credits are granted each billing cycle and do not carry over — each cycle replaces the previous allotment. Top-up credits do not expire and are spent only after your plan credits are used up.

Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card details. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled, and you can cancel at any time from the billing portal. Cancelling stops future charges and leaves you on the plan until the end of the period you have paid for.

Credits have no cash value and are not redeemable for money.

4. When a render fails

If a generation fails, the credits it reserved are returned to your balance automatically, to the same pools they came from. You are not charged for a clip you did not receive. A clip that completes has been delivered, whether or not you like the result — AI output is not deterministic and we make no promise about what a given image will produce.

5. What you upload

You keep ownership of the images you upload and of the videos produced from them. You give us only the permission needed to run the service: to store your files, to pass them to the model provider that renders your video, and to show them back to you.

You confirm you have the right to upload what you upload. Do not upload material that infringes someone else's rights, that depicts a real person without their agreement, that sexualises minors, or that is illegal where you are. We may remove content and close accounts for any of these.

6. Sharing and watermarks

Your clips are private by default. A clip becomes publicly viewable only when you choose to share it, and unsharing takes it down again. On free and Starter accounts, clips carry our mark; Remove watermark is included from Starter upwards, and applies to your whole library for as long as the plan is active.

7. Retention

Source images you upload are deleted about 30 days after upload. Finished videos are kept while your account exists. Deleting a clip removes it from your library.

8. Availability

The service is provided as-is. We depend on third parties for rendering and storage and cannot promise uninterrupted availability. We will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you we will say so by email before it takes effect.

10. Contact and governing law

Questions go to [email protected]. These terms are governed by the laws of Arizona, United States.
